A Globe earthenware bowl (or bowl-shaped vase) with a pale yellow-beige glaze. A good example of the wares made by Globe Potteries, which operated in New Muckleneuk,  Pretoria , from c.1920 to 1957. Condition good no chips or cracks. Height 75 mm; diameter 125 mm. The impressed Globe mark on the base has filled with white glaze and is thus difficult to photograph (see last photo below).
