Psychoanalyst Jean Bolen's career soared in the early 1980s whenGoddesses in Everywomanwas published. Thousands of women readers became fascinated with identifying their own inner goddesses and using these archetypes to guide themselves to greater selfesteem, creativity, and happiness.
