The Godetia, Clarkia amoena, produces one of the most beautiful flowers that can be grown in a home garden. This lovely plant produces tall pikes of shimmering, satiny petals. The flowers are wavy and rippling, appearing somewhat like a full skirt. Ideal as a cut flower, Godetia is fantastic when grown in large pots. The seeds should be planted in the autumn or spring. They do not like to be over watered. They like full sun.
