GODFREY NDABA PASTELS 

Godfrey's first exhibition was at the Y.M.C.A. in Soweto, then followed one at Dorkay House, under the patronage of Mr. Sydney Spamla. He had an exhibition at the Hyde Park Gallery which was a complete sell-out and this certainly marked the turning point in Godfrey's career. Many successful exhibitions followed and while in a group exhibit of Black and White artists in Botswana, Godfrey was acclaimed a a future great.The greatest day in his life, says Godfrey, was when he was awarded the first prize for his sculpture at Fort Hare.His work has been sold in galleries and privately throughout Israel, Australia, Europe and the United States of America.
