Description
Josh O'Connor and Alec Secareanu star in this British drama written and directed by Francis Lee. When his father is left paralysed after suffering a stroke, young Yorkshire farmer Johnny Saxby (O'Connor) is forced to take over the running of the family farm by himself. Seeing he is struggling to cope with the increased responsibility, Johnny's grandmother organises for Romanian migrant worker Gheorghe Ionescu (Secareanu) to assist him through the busy lambing season in a bid to alleviate some of the burden.
However, this only complicates Johnny's life further, as Gheorghe's arrival forces him into making some big decisions regarding his future. The cast also includes Gemma Jones, Ian Hart and Melanie Kilburn.
