And now for something completely different! The first car I drove at 16 when my dad bought one 'for fun'.

Charming Schuco model of the eccentric Goggomobil TS25 Coupe circa 1964. Looked like a sportscar but was powered by a 2-stroke 250cc motor and topped out at about 80kph....

Amazingly it had an electro-mechanical pre-select gearbox made by Getrag. Made by Glas in Bavaria, it had quite a following in South Africa and attracted attention!

Model bright in red/white and very nicely detailed capturing the amusing looks of the car extremely well. A model for all Goggomobil fans (?!); collectors of unusual models and eccentrics.

Very rare now so quite pricey. In as-new condition and in its original box also perfect.
