Gold Coast Regiment (British West African Frontier Force) Shoulder Title (1901-1928).

Formed in 1901 from the Gold Coast Constabulary (est. 1879), the Gold Coast Regiment was a premier unit of the British Royal West African Frontier Force. They served with distinction in both World Wars, fighting in Togoland, Cameroon, East Africa, and Burma before becoming the core of the independent Ghana Army in 1957.
