Karman SLPA5 is a Single Coil pickup similar to a P90 pickup in a Les Paul / Humbucker size cover so it will fit perfectly in your guitar without modifications as long as you have routing for a humbucker. P90 pickups are considered by most as the best of both worlds between Stratocaster size single coils and humbuckers, you get the top-end clarity and chirp that you get from a Strat-type single coil and the mid-range punch and low-end roundness that you would get from a PAF Style humbucker. Since the pickup is designed to fit inside a humbucker rout which is smaller than a genuine P90 this pickup has a sound of it's own, it sounds similar to a P90 but with less midrange frequencies.
