A Rare Set of Three Medal to Commemorate the Golden Jubilee (1922-1972) of the Universary of Witwatersrand. Recorded mintage of 100 sets.

Gold Medal. Stamped on edge with the SAM Hallmarks for 18 ct. Diameter 38.2 mm. Mass 44.4 gm.
Silver Medal. Stamped on edge with the SAM Hallmarks for Sterling Silver. Diameter 38.2 mm. Mass 29.9 gm.
Bronze Medal. Diameter 38.2 mm. Mass 22.9 gm.

All medals stamped with the issue number: "30".

Comes inside an oblong red fitted case. The case is badly damaged and rotted.
