Golden Stream Seranade

During a journey through the vibrant heartbeat of Hong Kong.

I found myself drawn to the edges of the city.

One evening as the golden sun began its descent behind the skyline. I wandered to a busy Pier where boats bobbed gently in rhythm with the tide.

I saw this group of people at the Piers edge; there music weaving through the warm breeze. Some stop and close their eyes.

Even the waves seemed to pause.  There music told a thousand stories. Of longing of Peace of Moments from the Rush. 

I carried that sound,  that evening and that Golden light back with me,  into the canvas. 

This painting is an impression of stillness in motion,  music in silence and beauty that ask for nothing.
