Cassell & Company revised edition 1957 hardcover. The unclipped jacket is tatty and worn, and missing pieces on both ends of the spine, and has stains visible on the reverse. The boards are undamaged, but slightly cocked and with a few marks. The pages are lightly browned on the edges, but are otherwise clean and undamaged, except for one of the photographic plates looks as if it had some liquid spilled on it. An account of the author's experiences of trench warfare in World War One.
