This piece has a clean, modern design, featuring 50 x tapered baguette cut diamonds totalling 0.78 carats, channel set in 9ct white gold in 2 curved bands. These bracket a cluster of single cut, claw set diamonds set in rows, above and below. The cluster starts 2 diamonds wide on either side, broadening to 5 diamonds deep in the middle. The baguette cut diamonds are bordered by a single row of round cut diamonds on the outside, top and bottom. All the round cut diamonds total just under a carat! The ring head measures 18mm wide x 14mm long and sits 2mm above the finger. The broad 9ct yellow gold shank starts very narrow under the finger, broadening swiftly to where the diamonds start low down on the shoulders. The beautifully crafted piece is well hallmarked with the jeweller's signature, the Birmingham assay mark, 375 indicating 9ct gold, and the date 2011. The piece weighs a hefty 3,65 grams. The piece has been authenticated and evaluated by an independent jeweller at R56'000.00, and a certificate to this effect will accompany the piece.
