These half-arched stud earrings have been crafted in sterling silver, featuring 10 x round faceted natural Songea-mined natural sapphires in earthy colours of reds, oranges, and yellows, almost verging on green, all claw set. The gemstones are spaced out in 3 rows of 3:4:3, appearing randomly spaced to the casual eye. The arched surface features a multitude of polished silver nubs, the same size and shape as the claws that hold the gemstones, creating an interesting textured look and feel. The very edges of the surface of the earring are a raised, smoothly polished silver, containing the busyness of the nubs. The earrings are not huge, but at 14mm long x 8mm wide, they are nice and visible on the ear-lobe; they weigh a solid 4,08 grams together and bear the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. They are particularly well made, the texture of the nub design creating a very interesting feel.
