 STRIKING PERIDOT AND BLACK OPAL STERLING SILVER
DROP AND DANGLE EARRINGS. 925

These showy drop and dangle earrings earrings have a floral feel. The stud portion features a pear faceted green peridot claw set in sterling silver. The second element is a 4 -petaled flower featuring marquise cut, claw set green peridot with a silver centre. The third element is a real black opal cabochon, pear-shaped and claw set on elongated claws, holding a double base that emphasises the 3-D effect of the cabochon. The sparkle of the lime green peridot is an effective foil for the rich dark purplish black of the opal. The 3 elements are joined by open links in sterling silver; the articulation providing plenty of movement. The earrings measure 32mm long x 10mm wide and weigh 4,74 grams together. Beautifully made, they bear the 375 hallmark indicating sterling silver. An unusual combination, decidedly striking!
