Gorgeous Vintage Shelley Fine Bone China `Rock Garden` Trio

This item is secondhand and in excellent condition. The Shelley 'Rock Garden' pattern is a distinctive china pattern that features a design inspired by the beauty of natural rock formations and gardens. It typically includes intricate details resembling various types of rocks, plants and flowers. the pattern often incorporates earthy colours like greens, browns and muted pastels to mimic the colours found in a garden. This pattern gained popularity in the early 20th century and is known for its artistic and botanical elements that capture the essence of a serene rock garden. This trio comprises a tea cup, a saucer and a side plate. The tea cup measures approximately 115 mm from the edge of the handle to the opposite side, 90 mm in diameter and stands 65 mm high. The saucer measures 145 mm in diameter and stands 20 mm high, while the side plate measures 150 mm in diameter and stands 15 mm high. The cup is stamped 'Fine Bone China Shelley England' to the underside and the saucer and side plate are stamped 'Fine Bone China Shelley England Rock Garden' to the underside.
