🌱 Growing Instructions
1. Seed Starting
Start indoors 68 weeks before the last frost
Sow seeds ¼ inch (0.5 cm) deep
Maintain soil temperature at 2025°C (6877°F)
Germination typically occurs in 510 days
2. Light Requirements
Provide full sun (68+ hours daily)
Use grow lights if starting indoors to prevent weak seedlings
3. Transplanting
Transplant outdoors after all frost risk has passed
Space plants 4560 cm (1824 inches) apart
Plant deeply (bury part of the stem) to encourage strong roots
4. Watering
Keep soil evenly moist, not soggy
Water at the base to reduce risk of fungal disease
5. Feeding
Apply a balanced fertilizer at planting
Once flowering begins, switch to a low-nitrogen fertilizer to promote fruiting
6. Support & Growth Habit
Most cherry tomato varieties in mixes are indeterminate (vining)
Provide stakes, cages, or trellises for continuous growth and easier harvesting
7. Harvesting
Ready in about 5575 days after transplanting (varies by variety)
Harvest when fruits are fully colored and slightly soft
Frequent picking encourages more production
