Description.
 

A VERY RARE COLLINGWOOD SET MADE FOR THE RHODESIAN GOVERNMENT HOUSE. THE AGENTS WERE JAMES GREEN AND NEPHEW Ltd OF LONDON. THE COLLINGWOOD BACKSTAMP DATES THE PLATES TO THE 1920's AND CARRIES THE IMPERIAL ROYAL MONOGRAM OF KING GEORGE V. THE SUCRIERE HAS GEORGE V1 MONOGRAM AND THE CUPS AND SAUCERS HAVE THE IMPERIAL MONOGRAM OF GEORGE V1. THE CONDITION IS GOOD CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF USE THEY MUST HAVE HAD. A BIT  OF RUBBING TO THE GILT AND A COUPLE OF TINY CHIPS TO THE PLATES AND THE BOTTOM OF THE SUCRIER. 1 PLATE HAS A SMALL STAR HAIRLINE.
