Use this handy tool to produce your own grafted trees and shrubs!
Hand held manual grafting tool - very easy to use on stems up to 13mm in diameter.
The grafter blade cuts an omega shaped cut into stock and scion to ensure a secure join.
To operate, simply hold the stem of the stock plant in the grafting tool and squeeze the handle to cut it. Repeat with the donor plant stem and the two cuts will align. Ensure that the groove is cut in the stock for extra stability.
Once joined, you should wind a piece of budding or grafting tape around the join to protect it from infection and secure it.
The front of the grafting tool has handy lightweight pruning blades to remove unnecessary twigs or leaves.
