Gran Turismo Sport Spec II for PS4 is an updated, two-disc edition of the original game that bundles the base game with all free content updates released through May 2019. This packaging significantly reduces the initial download size for new players and includes bonus in-game content to provide a head start. 

Key features and inclusions of the Spec IIedition:

• Extensive On-Disc Content: The game includes over 280 cars and more than 25 tracks (with various layouts) on the discs themselves, incorporating two years' worth of free updates from the original Gran Turismo Sport.
• Bonus In-Game Items: The edition comes with a bonus pack of 10 top-performing cars from the 2018 FIA-certified GT Championships and a starting balance of 2.5 million in-game credits.
• Offline Access to Updates: The second data disc contains the game patches up to version 1.39, allowing new players to access a substantial amount of content with fewer initial downloads, although subsequent updates require an internet connection.
• Core Gameplay Modes: It features the same gameplay modes as the original, including single-player "GT League", "Driving School", "Mission Challenge", and "Circuit Experience" modes, as well as intense online competitions in the FIA-certified online championships.
• Technical Specifications: The game supports 1-2 players locally and up to 24 online. It is compatible with PlayStation VR and enhanced for PS4 Pro for improved 4K, 60FPS, and HDR visuals (on compatible hardware). 

The Spec II edition provides a more complete initial package for newcomers compared to the original launch version, but all post-May 2019 content updates are still available for free download to all players with an internet connection
