The Japan-made Accura 7x50 is a fantastic old-school camera adapter that doubles as a hand-held monocular. The Accura Photo-Monocular is the only monocular especially designed for photographic use. Unlike other monocular or binoculars which can be 'adapted' for telephoto work, the Accura Photo-Monocular is designed and corrected for picture-taking.
It's outstanding feature is the front focusing mount similar to that on a regular telephoto lens--yet, unlike long auxiliary telephoto lenses, the Photo-Monocular produces an upright groundless image and without the distortion produced by regular monocular. A hard-to-find unit.
