Great Britain: 1841 very small cover (frequently termed a Ladys Cover) addressed to Blackheath, Kent and showing straight-line handstamp 'NOR WOOD (letters spaced at 'R-W') struck in black. Original stamp franking at top right (most likely a QV 1d red) missing with slightly oily remnants of Maltese Cross cancellation still apparent. Unfortunate, but a nice postal marking. As scanned.
