Great Britain 1922 cover to South Africa franked KGV 1½d tied by London machine slogan British Empire / Exhibition 1924 canceller dated Nov 10 (early date of use); and second cover to Germany franked KGV 1d and 1½d tied by the same style of canceller but this one Birmingham and dated Oct 9 / 1923. (This last a printed commercial cover of Keep Brothers Ltd, Export Merchants, Birmingham, both stamps with perfin KB/B). Use of the slogan cancellers started early as part of a promotional campaign for the Exhibition, that was held in 1924/25. As scanned.
