Great Britain Silver Tickey (3d) Collection : Anglo-Boer War to pre-Pretoria Mint

After the Anglo Boer War (from 1902 onwards) the British Tickeys (silver 3d pieces) circulated in all four provinces of the old pre-union and from 1910 onwards in the Union.

In 1923 a mint was established in Pretoria to strike our own coinage. With the exception of the 1908 date, this is a complete collection of Great Britain SILVER Three-Penny pieces that circulated in South Africa from 1902 to 1922.
