Great rare vintage E.Preston & Sons 18 inch wooden and brass spirit level                             Birmingham, England                               1825 - 1932                            In good clean vintage condition...all bubbles are intact and in working order !!!                                                      

E.Preston & Sons was in production from 1825 to 1932. The company was founded by Edward Preston Sr. and the name was officially changed to "Edward Preston & Sons" in 1889 when his three sons joined the business. It was bought out in 1932.

1825 : Edward Preston began making tools in Birmingham, England.

1889 : The company officially became "Edward Preston & Sons" when the founder's three sons joined the business.

1932 : The company was sold to John Rabone & Sons after facing financial difficulties.
