The British 18-pounder was a quick-firing horse-drawn field gun designed to be towed behind a limber and six horses.

The shell is in very good condition. The fuse does not screw fully into the shell leaving a gap of about 5mm. The aluminum thread on the fuse needs cleaning up if you want it to screw fully into the fuse socket on the shell..
