This auction is for the green stone in the pictures. Since I am not very familiar with sharpening and honing stones, I'll do the best I can with the description.
No reserve, fair starting price for this stone. This is an auction and has no Buy-it-now option.
This seems to be a green carbide sharpening stone, because it's green. That's as far as my knowledge goes. Seems flattish but should rather be lapped before use, I would advise. About coarse to medium grit to me, perhaps more coarse. Please study the pictures. Feel free to perform additional cleaning and lapping, should you require that. It appears to be in good condition apart from the stain. Looks as if the previous user might have used oil, although it's not really stained or clogged. Stone dimensions are about 144x50x14mm. Apologies for my vague description but the stone seems quite useable.
Unfortunately no pick-up of items. I will combine shipments, if requested (auctions within a reasonable period), but this may cost more depending on weight.
Shipping will be R40 in South Africa. All items will be properly packed. I am not responsible for any damages by the post office that happens during transit.
