Group of 4 medals to P McFarlane: Boer War service with 2nd Dragoons and WWI service in Divisional Signalling Company

According to the medal rolls, McFarlane’s QSA and KSA were issued with the rank of Pte. However, at a later stage he had the rank re-engraved to read “Sgt”, possibly to be more in line with his rank of S.M. (Sergeant-Major) in the First World War.
