"Guardians of the Galaxy" is a 2014 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The story follows Peter Quill, a self-proclaimed "Star-Lord", who finds himself the target of a relentless bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb. To survive, he forms an uneasy alliance with a group of disparate outlaws: Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, the gun-toting Rocket, and the tree-like Groot. Together, they must unite to protect the galaxy from Ronan the Accuser, who seeks to use the orb's power for his own nefarious purposes.
