Rock legends Aerosmith have been immortalized in the king of music rhythm games, Guitar Hero.

The title follows Aerosmith from their roots playing local shows to the grand arena tours the band are known for. Players can perform gigs at high school and work their way up to Aerosmith’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Players will start their tour as Joe Perry, but slowly unlock other band members until the rock star set is fully complete. Classic songs from each Aerosmith period are in place, including Live in an Elevator, Pink, Rag Doll and all-time classic Walk This way, featuring Run-D.M.C. Bands that have inspired Aerosmith throughout their career, or who they admire, have also been added, with the likes of The Kinks, The Clash and Stone Temple Pilots all on board.

As with each Guitar Hero release, an optional guitar peripheral is available to play with, which lets players recreate the feeling of playing actual Aerosmith songs. The guitar has been given a face lift, however, and contains an Aerosmith faceplate to match the game. The addictive button skill of previous titles is firmly in place, now with a new Aero-twist.
