Description
Gregory Peck stars in this Western directed by Henry King. Disenchanted gunslinger Jimmy Ringo (Peck) is preparing to meet with his estranged wife Peggy Walsh (Helen Westcott) and his young son who he has never met before. However, when a young cowboy incites an argument his reckless behaviour results in Ringo shooting him dead.
Informed that the dead man's brothers have vowed for revenge Ringo realises that his reputation will always follow him and he may never have the chance to live a quiet life free from bloodshed.
