H.M.S. Surprise - Patrick O`Brian

Hardcover first published 1973 by Collins. The unclipped jacket has some wear and chips to the edges, more so at the head of the spine, which is also sunned. The brown boards with gilt titling are square and sharp. The first end-paper contains the name of a previous owner in pen. This page has some surface insect damage in a small patch at the edge, as does the rear paste-down, towards the spine. The external side page edges also have shallow surface insect damage. The pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
