The set is comprised of the De Witt Clinton locomotive (with tender) and three passenger cars.
All beautifully detailed, boxed and in very good condition, only taken out of box to test run on track.
Boxes show some signs of wear & tear from storage.
This unique, vintage model is based on the "De Witt Clinton", one of the first steam engines constructed in America.
On August 9, 1831, the DeWitt Clinton completed its maiden journey from Albany to Schenectady, New York, in a record 38 minutes via the Mohawk and Hudson Railroad.
