Very good set in oatmeal cloth. All are impressions of the 1st edition published in 1969 and 1970,. Contents are clean and binding is tight. Volume 4 has a light stain on the top of the front board. Spines are slightly faded but black titles still bright. A very scarce set, especially in the hardcover impressions of the first edition. Volume 1 has sections on the spiritual origins of haiku, the state of mind for haiku, haiku and poetry, four great haiku poets, and the technique of haiku.
