Hailea Air Compressor 60W 82L/min ACO-328
The Hailea AC series air pumps have a piston mechanism rather than relying on a rubber diaphragm, this is a robust, reliable and efficient design, representing excellent performance for the money. The shell is made of high-quality ZL102 aluminum alloy for durability and improved heat dissipation.
This compressor uses an oil-free lubrication design with an SF3 wear-resistant material in the piston and cylinder, so the compressed air is contaminant free. This design reduces energy consumption and produces higher air flow and pressure.
The AC-Series is designed for continuous or intermittent use indoors (or in a suitable enclosure outdoors). As with any air pump, you can prolong its life by balancing the output with a valve to release any excess pressure. Avoid running pumps with no load or with all outputs closed.
There is even an inlet connection available on the rear of the pump to draw clean air through a filter for example.
Always use one-way valves if the pump will ever be lower than the water level, to prevent water siphoning back to the pump. Use inline-valves to balance flow between multiple air stones and to relieve excess back-pressure on the pump.
Note these compressors are designed for performance rather than low sound levels they are too loud for use in a living room, for example.
