Hailea CPA Air Pump

Hailea CPA

CPA is the model prefix used by Hailea for a specific series of air pumps with builtin battery backup and automatic power switching. These are not accounting terms  they're equipment used to supply oxygen to water in fish tanks and related systems.

Key Features of Hailea CPA Pumps

• Dual Power Operation (AC/DC):
The pumps run on regular mains electricity (AC). If power fails, they automatically switch to the internal 12V DC battery so aeration continues.

• Automatic Battery Charging & Switching:
When plugged in, the battery recharges. If power cuts out, the pump instantly switches to battery mode to keep oxygen flowing  often for up to ~89hours depending on the model and output setting.

• Adjustable Air Output:
You can adjust airflow to suit your tank's needs, which also helps stretch battery life if needed.

• Low Noise & Clean Air:
Multistage mufflers make them relatively quiet, and oilfree design ensures the air delivered is safe for aquatic life.

• Intelligent Control:
A microcomputer controller manages battery charging and automatic switching between power sources.

Common Models in the CPA Line

  • Air output: ~120L/min (~60L/min per outlet)

  • Suitable for larger aquariums or multiple tanks.

  • Up to ~89hrs battery backup.

  • Runs quietly with adjustable flow.

• Hailea CPA60 Air Pump for Aquariums

  • A smaller version (lower output), ideal for medium tanks.

  • Essentially the same AC/DC and battery backup features.

Typical Uses

Aquariums (freshwater & marine)  ensures oxygenation
Ponds & aquaculture tanks  helps keep fish healthy
Situations with unreliable electricity battery backup keeps water aerated during outages
