Black Soap Shampoo

Black soap helps even out and fade brown spots and discolorations. It is soothing on dry and irritated skin, relieving dry patches, rashes and red areas. It eases the symptoms of skin conditions like acne. Black soap helps lessen, treat and clear acne, gets rid of blackheads, psoriasis and eczema. The soap can also be used on your body or hair or for oily skin, dry skin, skin rashes, scalp irritations, body odours and is good for sensitive skin. Rinse your hair with warm water, then lather a handful of shampoo onto your hair. Repeat twice or thrice depending on desired cleanse.

Chebe Treatment

Chebe Powder is popularly used by the ethnic group in Chad who are known for having hair past their waists. They cover their hair with a mixture that includes this powder and it keeps the hair moisturized which stops it from breaking. The main ingredient used in Chebe Powder is the Croton Zambesicus shrub, which is grown mostly in the Western African region, but the powder also has other ingredients such as Mahlaba seeds, Missic resin and cloves. The benefits of using Chebe Powder on your natural hair include, strengthening hair, minimizes breakage, aids in moisture retention and aids in length retention.

Wash your hair and pat dry with a towel. Mix the treatment and apply from root to tip. Do a protective style e.i. two strand twists, plain lines or a bun and cover to increase moisture retention.

Rinse out after at least 5 days.

*You can leave it in for longer especially if you have braids. The treatment does not show. The powder may flake off after it dries but will generally look ok to leave it uncovered if you like.
