What a find! This is a delightful Victorian rattle with working whistle. It's has been used by a very fortunate child so please look at the photos. The silver hallmarks are for Birmingham 1896. The rattle is 8.3cm long and just over 2.5cm at the widest. The MOP has mellowed beautifully. The maker's mark is rubbed, but appears to be 'H &'. I cannot read the rest.
