A large (10 oz content) bottle for carbonated water, used by Randall Sloper & Co of Southampton in the 1890s. The pointed end forced the bottle to lie on its side, preventing the cork from shrinking and allowing the "fizz" to escape.

The bottle is in very good condition for a dug item, with minor "nibbling" to the lip. Dug from a dump in the Cape.
