HAMSA BRACELET

   The hamsa is a palm shaped figure symbolising the open right hand and is seen as a sign of protection in many societies.  The symbol is found in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. 

It is believed to defend against the ayin ha’ra, also known as the evil eye and to bring about blessings power and strength.The hand can be depicted with the fingers spread apart to ward off evil, or as closed together to bring good luck.  

 
 
Garnet is a sensual and elegant stone due to the dark and deep red carmine hues. It can be said that it is definitely a stone that brings vitality and has a magnificent energy.
 
 Garnet serves to balance the physical, spiritual and nervous system. It increases the senses as well as improves our vitality and stamina. It is also very good for business as it brings about success. Statues of Isis, the Egyptian goddess of nature, often included garnets in her ceremonial belt representing her blood and her power.  It furthermore has attributes of devotion and is strongly associated with balancing of the sex drive and emotional disharmony.  Garnet is know as the 'stone of commitment' which means to purpose, to others and to oneself.

The bracelet is approximately 18.5cm.
