I am pleased to offer this Vintage Hand Carved Stone Chess Set. It comes complete with a Leather Chess Board, sewn in squares of Blue and Pink leather on the playing side and finished off in Brown Suede on the other. It folds in half.

The pieces are carved from stone in two opposing colours.

The art work is rather grotesque and reminiscent of the Easter Island Statues. Much attention to detail was applied to get the repeated characters exactly the same.

The Kings stand 7 cm tall and the Pawns, at the other end of the scale, stand 2.2 cm tall. All the pieces are 1.1 cm wide.

The Leather Chess Board measures 19 x 19 cms.

This Set is in Excellent Condition and looks hardly used.

There are no chips or cracks on the pieces.

The Leather Chess Board is also in Excellent Condition. The sewing is all intact.

The suede side is lovely.
