Beautiful hand-knotted hunting Persian rug. Hunting carpets are among the most collectable as they display a picture (in this case animals), which is much more challenging to weave than a symetrical pattern. The carpet incoparates lovely colour, deep blues, neutrals and burnt orange. There is a slight mark, displaying some wear to the tuft, please see pictures. I believe a professional clean will remove the mark. Overall, its a fine, tightly woven piece ideal for a bedside or entryway and it measures 1220mm x 1960mm.
