Hand-Made Silver, Sapphire and Diamond Bangle Bracelet
The bangle bracelet was hand-made to display a number of vintage diamonds and blue sapphires. The sapphires and diamonds all have old cuts dating to about the 1930's. The bangle, itself, is of a 'twist' design, made of a band of silver which varies in width. There are six sapphires which range in colour from medium blue to deep mid-night blue. The total weight of the sapphires is approximately 1.55ct (two circa 0.33ct each; one circa 0.25ct; two circa 0.22ct; and one circa 0.20ct). There are 22 diamonds which have a total weight of approximately 2.96ct. There are five diamonds of relatively significant size (one circa 1.20ct colour I-J; clarity I3; one circa 0.20ct colour I-J; clarity I3; one circa 0.25ct colour I-J; clarity SI3; one circa 0.25ct colour I-J; clarity I3; one circa 0.35ct colour I-J; clarity I1). The remaining 17 diamonds consist of two of 0.10ct; one of 0.08ct; two of 0.07ct; one of 0.06ct; one of 0.05ct; two of 0.025ct; three of 0.02ct; four of 0.015ct; and one o 0.012ct. The bangle is marked "925".
