Porcelain ginger jar with cork and lid. Hand painted with a modernised  dragon on one side and a phoenix on the other, in warm orange  on white with gold overtones. The Ginger Jar stands 12cm tall and is 10cm at its widest.

Rubber stamp mark looks like 'Jian Ding' (certified) 'Guan' (Guandong). This stamp mark was probably issued by State Export Department and was active between 1949 and 1986. Excellent condition.
