LARGE HOOPED FUN & FASHIONABLE METAL & GILD EARRINGS. NATURAL JASPER GEMSTONES.

Something fun but rather different in the jewellery line. Handcrafted, these large hooped earrings are made out of jeweller's metal (not sterling silver). They are a rather fabulous colour combination of earth colours. They have been made by a regular jeweller I work with, who normally works only in sterling silver, using natural earth-mined gemstones. These are fun fashion pieces, rather than fine jewellery, but the bits of ochre colour stones are real jasper stone. The rest is a jeweller having fun with crystals and pearls! The design is hoop, but the attachment is actually a stud with butterfly posts, and large ear-lobe stabiliser butterflies. The main structure is not flat, but 3D in look and feel. The jeweller has continued the tightly packed gold-coloured crystals all the way around the bottom of the hoops, curving up the other side.  They measure 5,5 cm (55 mm) top to bottom and 4 cm (40 mm) across. They weigh a solid 26,9 grams, meaning that they hang well rather than blow away.
