Heavy and dramatic, this very natural piece of handcrafted jewellery features three bezel set natural earth-mined Smokey Quartz gemstones. Each one is 14,3 carats, 42,9 carats in total. The design of the necklace is chevron, the solid horizontal pendant section in the chevron shape, ending in a subtle "V" shape. The sterling silver has been handworked to create a tactile finish, and laid with a raised whirly tactile design. The back of the chevron is hand hammered and features openwork holes to allow the light into the gemstones. The chain section is a heavy round link and the whole necklace closes with a large sterling silver toggle closing mechanism. It measures 3 cm (30 mm) at its widest point, narrowing to 10 mm at the ends of the chevron. The horizontal measurement left to right is 13 cm (130 mm). The chain sections together measure 28 cm (280 mm). The full measurement of the necklace when worn is 43,5 cm (435 mm). It weighs a serious 73 grams! It's a beautiful, organic and dramatic piece of jewellery.
