HANDCRAFTED STERLING SILVER DECORATIVE LONG RING WITH CORAL FEATURE

An unusual handcrafted piece with an organic feel. The ring is a double layer of sterling silver. The underside is polished silver surface and the top of the ring head has been worked with sterling silver tactile and raised 3D decorative strands. The surface below the design has been oxidised for contrast and drama. The 7 x 4 mm rectangular coral has been left natural, bezel set, and raised slightly. The elliptical shape ring is long, measuring 5 cm (50 mm) up the finger x 21 mm (2,1 cm) wide. The side view measurement is 10 mm and the polished silver shank is quite wide at 9 mm all the way round. It too has been worked with light etched patterns. The ring is a size 8,5 (Q/half in British and SA sizing) and it weighs 16,5 grams. It is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver.
