Handmade 1/48 scale Finnish Morko-Maurane fighter, Wooden model.

Morane-Saulnier MS.406, very successful french fighter in ww2, holding it's own against the bf-109 in 1940, the Russians on the eastern front in Finnish hands and the Americans and British in Africa during the Allied invasions of the French colonies. The Morko meaning ghost in Finnish was upgraded with captured russian Klimov engines to give 25 percent more power. This with a few other tweaks kept all three made in combat till the last day of Finlands war.

Entirely hand made and painted from mostly recycled/up-cycled wood. With authentic details and study construction. With the exception of the egg/toon plane range, all our aircraft are proportionate and authentically scaled at 1:48 scale or 1/100 scale.

NB:The photos on this page are of the actual example you will be buying. They are hand made of solid wood, so perfection is a secondary condition, each will have it's own houding and vibe. They all come with the pictured display stand.
