These unusual and really stunning handcrafted earrings feature 6 x oval faceted iridescent pearl fire opal cabochons claw set in gold-hued solid sterling silver in a floral design around a smaller round cut opal on the stud element.  The colours are wonderful - pale apricots, greens and tinges of red. The fire opals have an opaque quality, yet with an inexplicable depth. The dangle element features a chunky Baroque pearl, organic and lumpy, lustrous and glossy; hanging from an open double link that allows plenty of movement. The pearl too displays pronounced iridescence with greys, blues and touches of apricot. The pearls are particularly organic and natural in shape, making the jewellery a wonderful display of Mother Nature jewellery art. The little cap that holds the top of the pearl is gold-hued sterling silver, with a plantlike design that displays a bright green sparkling emerald claw set in each 'leaf'. They are big earrings, measuring 57mm long x 19mm wide. The Baroque pearls are big and showy and weighing in at 23.10 grams together, they are beautiful conversation pieces that you wouldn't miss. The both bear the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver.
