Handwoven Antique (Persian) Afgan Bokhara Rug -2,26M X 1,42 M

 This special offer of a family heirloom is a beautifully heavy hand woven rug.

For the knowlegable buyer, I mentioned Persian for descriptive purposes, this is in fact a Turkmen.

I believe it is antique, bought in Europe some years ago as a semi-antique.

Woven by Afgans of Turkoman ethnic origin in the Tekke Bokhara style.

Please note that this is a thick and substantial rug weighing in at 13 kgs

Was sent back East for restoration long before we acquired it,

having been damaged during the 2nd World War in Europe

Shown here expressly are the repairs so that the buyer has a true overview of what we are offering.

We have sold on eBay UK for for 4yrs 3months under two identities i.e. woodendollars and scrambleduck.
