Description

Ridley Scott directs this horror sequel based on the novel by Thomas Harris. Ten years after the events of 'The Silence of the Lambs' (1991), FBI agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore) receives a letter from escaped serial killer Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins). He is living in Italy, biding his time, but Mason Verger (Gary Oldman), Hannibal's only surviving victim, is searching for him.

Desperate for revenge, he intends to use Clarice as bait to lure Hannibal out so he can finally turn the tables on his former therapist. The cast also includes Ray Liotta, Giancarlo Giannini and Francesca Neri.
